What can you expect from a kids haircut at Hair Skin Club?
Every child is different, but here's how a typical visit goes.

Kids love toys. When you walk in, we'll start with a little show and tell and introduce them to our basket of toys.
Most children choose a toy to hold during their haircut. We've found it helps them feel comfortable and gives them something familiar to focus on.

With a toy in hand, we'll transition to the chair.
We'll quickly figure out what feels most comfortable for your child—sitting solo, sitting on your lap, or being held.
We're prepared for all of the above. Whatever helps them feel safe and comfortable.

Before we begin, we'll talk through your goals for the haircut. Photos are always helpful.
Our preference is to create a haircut that works naturally with your child's hair type and daily routine, without needing styling products.

Once we have a plan, we'll get to work.
For younger children, we typically start with shears and gradually introduce clippers or trimmers if appropriate. Every child responds differently, and we adjust our approach accordingly.

When the haircut is done, we'll celebrate with a small reward.
Whether it's our treat or one you've promised beforehand, we believe every successful haircut deserves a little celebration.
